Don’t EVER go to Azalea Flee Market again and walk over a mile to the track! We used
to do that until this campground opened and we’ve been here ever since. The convenience
of making your reservation for a site online as far ahead as you want to go is unique
and so easy. And the best part, you’re right across the street from the track and
can be in your seats in 15 minutes. Chris Lewis and his son, Josh, value their campers
and they show it. We consider them family now that we’ve been there over 5 years.

To anyone interested in RV parking for RIR: We would like to say that we were fortunate
enough to be among the first to obtain RV parking for RIR with Chris Lewis. We had
four lots that were spacious enough for everyone to have ample room for RV set-up
and extra parking. The grounds were well maintained and Chris made it his personal
responsibility to ensure that everyone was satisfied and comfortable with their
accommodations. Being in such close proximity to the entrance gates of RIR makes
it a sure winner. We are planning on keeping a permanent arrangement with Chris
for all of our RV parking and would highly recommend you do the same. We really
hate for this jewel of information to get out as we want to keep if for ourselves.

Hi Chris and Josh…what a thoughtful thing to do – sending a survey asking what could
be done better. I can speak for all of us (Jeff and Susan, Jerry and Kay, Clay and
Teresa) when I say there’s not much you could do better. We’ve never had a campground
owner show so much concern for comfort and meeting needs. We have our reservations

I want to thank you for all you do to make the stay at Richmond pleasant. We were
impressed with your operation and the area where you park RV’s. We felt like we
were in heaven in the Walnut Avenue lot. Generators seemed to be off by midnight
and didn’t start again until 7 a.m. If the people around us were up after 11 p.m.,
they were quiet because we didn’t hear them.

We really enjoyed our stay at your walnut lot for the spring 2009 race. We hardly
got a bag of trash out to the front of our site before it was being picked up. We
came the Sunday before the race and Chris was there in a moment to help position
us in our spot. We called to find the location for water and received a call back
in less than 5 minutes. Your location was close, but yet you feel tucked away from
the craziness of the crowds. We'll be back in the fall.

It was a very nice lot and our check in experience was perfect – no waiting and
no issues. Almost all of the fans were friendly, neighborly, and respectful. We
will most definitely reserve a space with you again when we return to Richmond,

The campsites were very clean and well laid out, Both Josh and Chris helped us with
anything we needed, whether it was water or sewer needs and even trash pickup. The
Walnut lot is literally directly across Laburnam from Gate 4 into RIR, a much shorter
distance than having to come from the Track's satellite lots. We appreciated the
Lewis' personal attention to detail that made our stay so welcoming and comfortable.
Our family is looking forward to all of our future stays at the lot and the next
Richmond race can't come fast enough. Thanks again guys!

A real class RV camping experience. The site was real close to the track. The attention
to detail was awesome, e.g. trash pickup, water needs, sewage, security and making
your stay as comfortable as possible. A real plus was being able to see the pit
crews walking to the track!

We enjoyed our camping experience at the Spring race. The easy access to vendors,
amenities and the track was great. Getting to and from the race was so quick! It
was a bonus to not wait in line to dump, having the service right at the campsite
was a great benefit.
